📐 How to Calculate How Many Skirts You Need
Follow these simple steps to determine your order quantity:
- Measure the edges of your table(s) that need skirting
- Add all the measurements together (in feet or inches)
- Divide by 14 feet (or 168 inches)
- Round up to get the number of skirts needed
Example 1: 6-Foot Table (3 sides)
• 6-foot table that's 2.5 feet wide
• 6 + 2.5 + 2.5 = 11 feet total
• 11 ÷ 14 = 0.79
✓ You need 1 skirt (with extra left over)
Example 2: 6-Foot Table (4 sides)
• Same 6-foot table, covering all 4 sides
• 6 + 2.5 + 2.5 + 6 = 17 feet total
• 17 ÷ 14 = 1.21
✓ You need 2 skirts
Example 3: Round Tables
Large rounds (72", 60", 54", 48"): Need 2 skirts each
Small rounds (36", 30", 24"): Need 1 skirt each (with extra)
Tip: Extra length can be wrapped on top of itself and attached with the overlapping velcro!
💡 Pro Tip: Multiple Tables in a Row
When using many long tables end-to-end, only the outside edges need skirting! You'll need less material since the ends between tables don't need coverage.
